I'm a 38 year old wife and mother of three boys. I'm white, living in a rural, mostly white community on the west coast, but I grew up in a mostly white suburb on the east coast. Though I've had very little opportunity, I have had a few friendships with those of other races, but I'd like to feel a deeper level of comfort and understanding.
